Baby room 0-1 year Our baby room is bright and colourful and gets lots of natural light. There are a variety of activities to stimulate the little enquirer as they use all of their senses to investigate their surroundings.
In our baby baby room we allow the babies to explore their surroundings through touch, sight, sound, taste, smell and movement, as we realise that babies sensory and physical exploration affects the patterns that are laid down in the brain. We make good use of the treasure basket approach which comprises of a selection of specifically selected items to promote babies awareness of shape, size, texture, colour, and scent.

Library/television room We are very lucky to have a separate library for the children. This room is used by all groups on a regular basis. After watching the 'tweenies' we can reinforce the topic by reading one of our books which relate to what was being taught in the programme. The children love to get into the library. Here the children learn good book handling knowledge such as reading from left to right, top to bottom and how to turn pages properly.
